Both first and second year students decamped to Milan for the Salone Del Mobile again this year.
Second year students presented XYZ at the Satellite, stand B47
This gave visitors the chance to revel in the wonders of stereoscopic vision. The show showcased final year research projects with themes such as well-being, play, emotional durability, sustainability, design poetics and personal freedom being explored. The stand design respresents a breakaway from the typical design show. By showing 3d images rather than 3d objects, students were able to give equal prominence to both ideas and objects. And got them out of driving an extra ton of work the 782 miles from London to Milan.
Meanwhile, first year students presented Poziderio at the NABA Nabasutra event, Via Darwin 20.
Visitors were invited to visit the clinic for phrenological diagnosis. They were then able to collect their prescription which either made them attractive to others, or cured their unhealthy desires.
