MAID in Milan 2010

Once again, we loaded up the van and headed out to Milan for the Salone Del Mobile.

MA Industrial Design students contributed three events this year:

Linkoscope:  April 14th -19th 2010

Following our successful 'virtual 3D' exhibition in Milan 2 years ago, this year the 'Linkoscope' provided a 'live' link up from London to get the latest news about students' graduation projects.

Venue: Designersblock, Thaon de Revel 3, Zona Isola - Milano

We also ran the following workshops at Triennale Bovisa:

13th April 3pm - 6pm "Dalle Buste Alle Stelle" AKA "Bags to Riches"

Transforming discarded plastic bags into wearable works of art.

16th April 10am - 1pm  "Dalle Buste Alle Stelle" AKA "Bags to Riches"

17th April 10am - 1pm Azzeccazilla (Part 2)

And... a reprise of our famous Milan workshop from 3 years ago: Transforming your mountains of excess brochures into beautiful and useful notebooks. Please see video below for Compasso Di Latte event at Triennale Bovisa.

Many thanks to everyone who joined us for one or all of these events!

(We also found time to visit the Kartell Museum and the Castiglioni Studio Museum - images attached)
